15s30m active learning session

15s30m stands for 15 seconds, 30 minutes. It means taking a few extra seconds at the start of a process to save someone a lot of time further along, reducing frustration and increasing joy at work.

About this event

Time continues to remain a challenge where demand often exceeds resources. Following the success of a previous active learning session on 15s30m (15 seconds 30 minutes), we are delighted to run it again.

The session will explore:

  • Why finding time is a challenge
  • How 15s30m can help
  • Where to get more information on 15s30m
  • Small group discussion of this approach.

Host

What people said they learned from the previous session:

You could incorporate the 15s30m approach into planning improvement projects. By applying it to each connecting line on a driver diagram, it can streamline each step of the process.

I would like to apply this concept with the wider training programmes for front line staff.”

The importance of stopping to take a breath, and survey the situation at the start of a task.”

Power of peer assists and resources.”

That no matter where you work, the common frustrations are the same.”

Easy tool to use, and linking it to joy and impact is powerful.“
