We are trialing elements of The Commons this year, starting with recruiting local ambassadors in three of our partner organisations. Q needs local ambassadors who will help to shape Q locally, as well as collaborating with colleagues at the Health Foundation and its country partners to think about how Q ties together nationally.

We are delighted that Hein has taken on this role in the West of England and look forward to working closely together over the next year along with colleagues at the AHSN.

Hein is the Primary Care Patient Safety GP Lead at the West of England AHSN. His main role is to increase the awareness and understanding of patient safety in General Practice.

Hein also works part-time as a GP in Gloucestershire, as well as representing his locality on the CCG with several responsibilities, including care for older people and patient safety.

He is passionate about improving care through a person-centred approach and therefore a great fit for this important role.
