Call for expert peer reviewers: BMJ Open Quality

Helen Crisp, Editor for the online open access quality improvement journal, BMJ Open Quality, is looking for Q members to act as expert peer reviewers

Hi!

I’m the editor for BMJ Open Quality, an on-line, open access journal dedicated to publishing quality improvement reports and I’d like to invite Q members to be peer reviewers for the journal. We really need people with on the ground QI experience to review the papers, which should fit very well with the skills and expertise of Q members.

Full details below:

Opportunity for members of the Q community to help disseminate quality improvement work

BMJ Open Quality is seeking front-line improvers to act as voluntary peer reviewers for the journal, which is dedicated to publishing reports of improvement work. Your expertise is needed to comment on papers submitted, to ensure that the reports are clear, informative and to ask authors the right questions to help improve their work. You would be asked to review a manuscript about every two to three months in an area that matches your experience and interest. We need a group of reviewers who are experienced, interested and highly knowledgeable about improving health care services – so it should be a great match for Q members.

If you would like to be involved, please contact me via the Q Directory or by email.

Don’t hesitate to reach out for further information!
