Meet the team

Also:

  • There are many people locally who are able to contribute to this across NHS providers, local authority and the voluntary sector.

What is the positive change that has emerged through new collaborations or partnerships during Covid-19 that your project is going to embed?

Many of the statutory bodies, local charities, and the local voluntary sector have all pulled together to help in many different ways.  This has been through networks, personal contacts, local news, people coming forward.

There are a huge number of people in our community that are willing to volunteer, or are trying through their daily role to connect to others in a really positive way.

I would like to really build on these connections, the energy and the enthusiasm.  What’s clear is that there isn’t a single place that you can go to, to find out what’ s available to help you, whether you are an individual, a small group or a huge provider.  If you want help, or can give help locally, there’s nothing to connect you together.

This programme would potentially benefit all services and a large variety of patients

What does your project aim to achieve?

To enable health care workers to connect with any other help outside of their team, that might be beneficial to their patient.

To be a single point of reference for all providers to connect regardless of their size, funding or organisation

To enable people to continue to volunteer and help their local community during and post Covid

To enable people to ask for help in a coherent way

How will the project be delivered?

As the South East Staffordshire ICP comes together, we have agreed a robust project management and governance system which is currently being established.  This programme would link in with that system, and this would include allocating a programme manager, agreeing scope, KPI’s, measuring what impact better communication and awareness has made etc, as well reporting of progress etc.  In essence, all the programme management necessary.

How is your project going to share learning?

I have some ideas, but would like some help from the Q community to develop this aspect.

How you can contribute

  • Is there anyone with experience in this field, Has anyone else done anything like this before?
  • What are the pitfalls?
  • How would you share the learning?
