About this event

Collaboration involves navigating new spaces, structures and people. This often comes with systemic, organisational and individual barriers in our way. But collaboration is, more than ever, what’s needed to deliver consistently high-quality health and care services.

The skills required for effective collaboration are wide-reaching and require attention and practice. We worked in partnership with Nesta to develop a skills map and user guide outlining the skills and attitudes needed for collaborative and creative problem-solving.

Our skills map and user guide are designed to support individuals and teams in having meaningful conversations about what it takes to collaborate well. It encourages teams to explore how to use those skills in practice.

Join us for this workshop where we will:

  • Introduce you to Skills for collaborative change’ and the user guide
  • Explore how it can support you in your improvement work
  • Support individual reflection to identify your strengths or development areas
  • Share ideas on how to use the skills map in your teams to identify collective strengths and potential improvements

The skills map, guide and this session will be useful for anyone looking to explore and develop skills for collaboration.
