About this event

Join the Community Hospitals (CHA) Q Group in their first discussion of 2025.

Sue Greenwood MBE QN from Cornwall NHS FT will talk about Cornwall’s innovative Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) initiative, which has successfully diverted 80 critically ill patients from A&E this winter, and significantly reduced the pressure on acute services within the Trust. The session will be chaired by the Group’s Co-Convenor Evelyn Prodger.

Supported by Qthe CHA Group sessions bring together people who are passionate about community hospitals. Each session features a presentation about an exciting, innovative project and is followed by discussion and Q & A. They’re an excellent opportunity to learn, share ideas and network with others.
