Advancing Dementia Care Cymru is a collaboration between Public Health Wales Improvement Cymru, The Royal College of Psychiatrists (Wales) Old Age Faculty and key partners from across Wales.

The conference themes will highlight the latest thinking, research, innovation and life stories currently having an impact or striving to have an impact on dementia care and practice. The Covid19 pandemic has presented real challenges to all countries but has also presented an opportunity for research and real-time innovation – we would like to capture an element of this learning within the three conference themes.

Conference Themes:

Dementia Care Research – the latest dementia research including research conducted during the Covid19 pandemic that can offer evidence, insight and learning.

Quality Improvement – developing initiatives to support: improvement in practice, systems, skills, technology, and approaches to care, including learning from Covid19

Living with Dementia – initiatives and learning that have a direct positive impact on the person and those that provide care striving to achieve the best outcomes for all, including learning from Covid19
