Q Lab Cymru: Virtual Workshop Series

Join the newly-launched Q Lab Cymru in a new workshop series exploring the improvement skills needed in recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

3 Aug 2021
11:30 – 13:00

Workshop 2

Open to all improvers in Wales, Q and non-Q members.

Also open to Q community members from across the UK with an interest in improvement in Wales.

About the workshop series

Working in health and care during the pandemic has required many of us to acquire new improvement skills, as well as adapting and developing existing ones.

As we move into recovery, it is important that we capture and synthesise what we have learned, and explore what this means for improvement moving forward.

Q Lab Cymru is hosting a series of virtual learning workshops to support improvers in Wales to do just that.

In this workshop we will focus on:

Skills for collaborative change – Bringing people together:

  • Hear from partners and those with lived experiences whose real life case examples embody the skills for bringing people together in shared ownership of new solutions, and take part in a Q &A session with them to find out more.
  • Connect with others in extended breakout rooms, using structures that get everyone fully engaged in discussion and honest sharing of experiences of bringing people together.
  • Spend some time in personal reflection to directly relate how bringing people together can be developed within your practice as an improver.
