Mindfulness practice has been shown to have positive effects on stress and anxiety, but also boosts creativity, empathy and resilience.

This webinar has three parts:

– We will start as usual with a led mindfulness practice.
– Short talk from from James McMahon, about his research on project management, emotional intelligence and mindfulness and what evaluation methods he used. And its finding that leaders who practice Mindfulness are more effective at delivering success.
– Space to connect with other members of the group and talk about how we implement mindfulness practice into our teams and organisations.

James McMahon – bio

James McMahon is a senior project manager at the West of England Health and Science Network. James has a breadth of experience in delivering transformation and quality improvement projects and programmes within a range of NHS organisations. Recently. while completing an MSc in Project Management, James studied the use of psychological education to improve leadership in project teams.
