Systems engineering (SE) is a mature body of knowledge that can deliver whole system designs and right-first-time outcomes, on time and in budget. This talk will outline the principles of systems engineering applied in the health care domain, and will present case studies that demonstrate that it works in practice. Mr Simon Dodds, General Surgeon, Health Care Systems Engineer and Improvement Science Coach, will be the keynote speaker for the event, offering his insight into SE.

In addition, you can find out about what the IHI can offer you. Whether you’re looking for new ideas for health care improvement, want to get results in a particular area, or are ready to take your organization to a new level of performance, IHI has educational programs and trainings to help you.

The event is open to everyone and we welcome those from all healthcare backgrounds. Refreshments will be offered from 5pm and the talk will begin at 5.30pm. Certificates of attendance provided.

The event is taking place at Audrey Emerton Building, Eastern Road, Brighton, BN2 5BE.
