Webinar

Leading change and innovation in this context is extremely challenging and Innovating for Improvement teams often require staff buy-in and good will to turn ambitious change ideas into reality. This webinar aims to explore workforce factors in health and social care and how you can best engage staff in your programme. Suzanne Wood- Improvement Fellow at The Health Foundation and Caroline Beardall, Director of Workforce and OD, (South East), NHS England/NHS Improvement will outline the national ambition for workforce engagement, share the key messages from the NHS staff survey and discuss how to make change from a policy perspective. They will share their expertise about how to involve staff in improvement work. Rachel Houghton, Practice Development Lead for Quality, Professional Regulation and Shared Governance, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust will then share a practical example that demonstrate the benefits of creating a culture of improvement, illustrating this through an innovative approach to shared governance across a large NHS Trust.

Participants will be able to engage directly with presenters to share their own experiences whilst on the Innovating for Improvement programme and ask questions from experts in the field. The webinar will be live and questions for the speakers can be asked on the day or sent in advance.
