Catherine is passionate about giving patients a more active and influential role in improving and re-designing healthcare. Amongst other things, she led a programme of work to improve patients’ experiences of cancer services at Guy’s Hospital using Experience-Based Co-Design (EBCD) and led the original development of the Point of Care Foundation’s EBCD toolkit. She has also taught EBCD for the Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI).

Catherine shared her experiences – and key lessons – from 10 years of doing EBCD.
