On the 27 March, Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust hosted an opportunity for improvers and those working in improvement teams to connect together during this Covid19 Pandemic. The call was attended by a large number of improvers from all over the UK and there was a large amount of interest in having further opportunities to connect.
Those who joined the call shared how they would like further opportunities to connect and network but also an opportunity to learn together. We agreed to look into setting up further calls combining opportunities to share ideas, learn together and time to freely network. One of the areas of particular interest was around virtual training and how we adapt our QI training courses and other training courses to meet the virtual world many of us are currently working in and also at a time when we are not able to ask groups of people to come together for face to face training.
