As well as the financial benefits, it can also offer other less tangible – yet potentially highly valuable – gains because of the large and engaged group of supporters a crowdfunding campaign can bring together.

Crowdfunding expert Alex Watson (Natural Capital Partners) will share the hows and whys of crowdfunding – along with the success factors and common challenges.

Alex has guided and developed successful crowdfunding campaigns on everything from wellbeing service Sunday Assembly to water purification devices to the local food movement Incredible Edible.

This Zoom call will offer an opportunity ask questions – and will leave you knowing whether crowdfunding is a good fit for your health and care improvement project, or not. The next steps will be explained, for those who are keen to try it.

Alex Watson bio
Alex Watson is currently marketing manager for sustainability consultancy Natural Capital Partners. Prior to this he trained 35 project leaders to successfully raise £600k+ from crowdfunding campaigns that brought on board a total of 10,000 new supporters/customers and fans. Projects ranged from green tech product GravityLight to wellbeing service Sunday Assembly and, on average, the projects attributed 28% of what they raised to the support he managed. Alex has also worked at Ben & Jerry’s, On Purpose and the Royal Society of Arts (RSA).
