Tips for unpaid Carers Wellbeing

A resource offering selfcare ideas for people in an unpaid caring role. It also offers some contacts of other sources of support, this document was created for people in Glasgow so many of the supports relate to that area, however, so long as the original source is credited we are happy for people to amend the tips to include support services in their area. The general selfcare tips can be helpful for anyone in an unpaid caring role. It maybe you want to use it as part of what you offer unpaid Carers in your trust or organisation for employees as many people working in health and social care are also unpaid carers in their personal life so can face many challenges to their own wellbeing and a supportive workspace can help make a difference.
