I spent 400 days living with my son in various London hospitals and have a large account base of experiences from this time and all the various outpatients' appointments since then. I learned a lot about the human body and how medical decision-making processes work. I am interested in the role that parents, carers or all patients play in this process.
I am currently writing a doctorate on 'Healthcare Decisions for Children', having turned my first-hand experiences into a new vocation. I am an organisational psychologist by profession, having worked in HR consulting, in particular employee engagement, for 15 years.
In Q, I have found a way to bring together my professional skills and my new vocation. It is so enriching to spend time in this active dialogue on how to make healthcare better, no matter what perspective you speak from - the medical or the user's. Thank you, Q.
