Not sure if you can see on the picture of the sugar cane…Read more

    • Welcome Ru! Not hearing much from the OT profession on decarbonisation ….which probably means they are up to something good . Heard anything ?

  • Any interesting idea today in a discussion – we need to weave in a ‘Co2e’ measure within all and any improvement work. Very much like the data in improvement work to check that the change is working; a conceptual measure to make sure we don’t contribute to the Carbon footprint. Many pieces of work might not appear to be anything to do with…Read more

    • Welcome Lloyd! Thanks for joining. The ventolin Accuhlaer has been removed from guidelines due to cost ? It’s not the lowest CO2e inhaler anyway is it? What are you thoughts on switching MDI’s , switching to dry powder and improving diagnosis of asthma?

Other DPI option which is included is Salbutamol Easyhaler- improvement in management and diagnosis of asthma is key to a holistic approach to decarb work in…Read more

About this group

This group is convened by Andrew Ware

The group is designed for those who want to discuss decarbonisation and related improvement ideas for Wales. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the world saw amazing improvements in the environment to show us what is possible. Decarbonisation can lead to huge gains in preventing and reducing ill-health.

The group will follow a Critical Social Learning System (CSLS) framework (Bawden), to braid inspirational and experiential learning; taking concrete experiences, insights and reflections from members and explore active applications and experimentations. Members can expect constructive feedback, exposure to an array of tools and methods borrowed from other social learning, improvement and development lineages.
