Tito has worked in healthcare and research informatics for nearly 30 years. Having trained as a medical physicist he specialized in physiological measurement, focused on the emerging discipline of GI Physiological measurement. He retains a membership of the British Society of Gastroenterology as well as being an active member of the British Computer Society, where he is Associate Vice-Chair for Standards with BCS Health & Care as well as being a Chartered IT Professional (CITP), FEDIP Advanced Practitioner and Certified Healthcare Chief Information Officer (CHCIO).

Although he began his career in Gastroenterology, he has since gained direct experience across a range of clinical, administrative and research systems in software development, project management, service development and, more recently as an internationally established speaker and strategist on health data management. He is currently the IT Lead for the implementation of a shared care record service across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.

Tito has a particular interest in the characterisation of business process and decision rules in support of change and is a UK Ambassador for the BPM+ Health  community of practice to enable documentation of discoverable and sharable care pathways and workflows using open, standards-based notations that are accurate and consistent.
