I have worked at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare Trust since 2000 and now lead the divisional governance team for the Surgical division which includes patient safety investigations, learning and improvements, patient experience and clinical audit.

I have recently facilitated the community of practice workshop 'Embedding Learning' resulting in the Ideas Guide which is now on the AHSN KSS website and we are currently looking at the concept of Emotional First Aid for staff involved in a serious incident or complaint.
