The inverse care law still very much alive and kicking
Services are just the tip of the iceberg
It’s the whole of society that drives it
Even if funding formulas were fairer the NHS can’t mitigate the uneven burden of disease by itself
Social Care and NHS need to be combined with prevention as the top priority so we can level the playing field

Hello
I am currently launching training for suicide prevention for primary care teams in Derbyshire – this has involved recruiting 7 GPs including myself and 1 practice nurse who have become Trainers of the Modules created by Connecting with People. They are 1- Suicide Awareness and 2- Suicide Response
