Sarah Reed joined the Health Foundation in February 2017 as Improvement Fellow.
Prior to joining the Health Foundation, Sarah was a Network and Policy Manager at NHS Clinical Commissioners (NHSCC), a hosted network of the NHS Confederation. There she led policy analysis and oversaw the strategic development and delivery of NHSCC’s member networks in the areas of finance, governance and core cities.
Previously she was a Programme Director at the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER), a research organisation in Massachusetts that evaluates the evidence on the value of medical tests, treatments and delivery system innovations. There she worked with key stakeholders – including insurers, provider organisations, and patients – to translate evidence into policy decisions to help support a more effective and efficient health care system. Prior to ICER, Sarah was a Researcher at the LSE Health.
Sarah has an MSc in International Health Policy from the London School of Economics.
