My interest in health and healthcare provision is from a few different angles. I studied an MSc in 'health promotion, research and policy change.' I have plenty of lived experience of healthcare provision after I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes eight years ago. I have worked in Emergency Departments and General Practice supporting victims of domestic abuse and now offer training in domestic abuse and complex needs. I have a particular interest in systems working better for patients. Particularly those with potential vulnerabilities or complex needs. I am involved in digital health/ Electronic Personal Health Records research. Also involved in PPI.
