Biography

I have worked in the NHS for the last 28 years and over that time I have worked in many different areas. My areas of interest are wide ranging looking at improved outcomes and human factors. I am also very interested in supporting the people who are providing the care. I am a qualified ILM7Executive Coach and Coaching Supervisor. I have a passion with regard to communication and advanced levels of communication and am also a qualified Neuro-linguistic Practitioner.
Over the years I have been involved in many innovative and improvement projects and programmes either directly or as part of a group and was heavily involved with the Leading Improvements in Patient Safety initiative at SaTH in 2011 looking at making improvements throughout the organisation based on lean methodology. This initiative involved staff at all levels to come together to look at understand our health care system and how we could all work together to improve outcomes for our patients.

I am also a qualified Prince2 Practitioner and have been involved with many improvement projects across the organisation.

I am currently  undertaking the Lean for Leaders course internally at SaTH based on the Virginia Mason Institute methodology
