Biography

Sally leads the Improvement Partnership Team at Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust (ASPH) Surrey, UK. The team provide project management and Quality Improvement expertise across the organisation; promoting a consistent, data driven and people focussed approach to improvement.

After a 20-year clinical career in Physiotherapy, Sally had the opportunity to participate in a post-graduate National Clinical Leadership Fellowship Programme and this led her to take on a new role in healthcare improvement. Over a number of years now, Sally has developed her improvement career and has a track record of successfully leading large and small-scale improvement projects.

Sally is a compassionate leader who seeks to engage and equip people to be able to identify and carry out improvements wherever they work. This is demonstrated by her involvement in developing and championing the ASPH ‘Be the Change’ programme which enables any member of staff to come forward with a change idea and to be able to access support to carry out the project.

Sally lives in Surrey with her husband and has two grown up daughters.
