Hi everyone,
Colleagues from the Insight & Analysis Unit at the Health Foundation have created a briefing on ‘Outpatient service redesign’. I have posted the briefing in the ‘Documents’ tab.
The briefing offers an overview of the theme and provides examples of improvement projects that the Health Foundation has funded that involve outpatient redesign.
Please do have a read and it would be great to see some conversations about potential improvement ideas you have for this year’s Q Exchange. Do any ideas link to previously funded projects? What connections could be useful to support your idea?
Looking forward to hearing about your exciting ideas!
Beast wishes, Rosie
Hi Jayne,
I am happy to hear the briefing has been helpful!
The projects shared will have project pages on the Health Foundation website where you can find out more about the projects and some have links to further work or resources.
The project pages can be found by navigating through the projects here: https://www.health.org.uk/what-we-do/supporting-health-care-improvement/improvement-projects-that-we-fund or by using the search bar at the top, right of the website.
Most projects will have contact details visible on their page either just below the project title or at the bottom of the page. I can also help with connecting to project teams if this is not available.
Best wishes, Rosie
Thanks for posting the document, Jayne. I have an allergy outpatient project in mind involving collaboration from myself in the community with a specialist colleague from Birmingham and another team member with behavioral science experience. I’m just back from a conference so will look at this in more detail next week and post again when you give more information about the process involved.
Hi Elizabeth,
We will be launching on Monday so do look out for an email from Q! You can also visit the Q Exchange home page (https://q.health.org.uk/get-involved/q-exchange/) which will be updated on Monday to include details of the application process and you will be able to post your idea.
I am looking forward to hearing more about your allergy outpatient project! – looks like you have some interesting collaborations already.
Many thanks, Rosie
Look forward to seeing your ideas, Elizabeth!
