It is encouraging to see that members of this group are already putting in applications for Q exchange 2022. I would encourage you all to read the ‘Q exchange Top Tips’ document in the files section of this group, as it has some useful information about what makes a successful application. Historically, primary care/ community oriented applicants have been under-represented in terms of winning Q exchange awards. So I want to a) encourage you all to come forward with ideas, and b) offer support from the SIG to work up and develop an idea that you may have, but need some guidance as to how to take it further.

Please reply to this thread if you are interested in this type of support, and I will look to host a SIG event where you can get supportive feedback and comments from the group within the realms of a safe space. Look forward to hearing from you.

    • Thanks Rammya, that’s very kind of you. I have put two ideas in. One which I think fits very well (ALFA nurses) because it makes excellent use of real time data. Would be great to get input and support how to make this best work in the community – clearly a difficult patient group and will be great to get ideas.
For the other one (DALIC) I am thinking how to make (novel) use of data (other than identifying the target population of very deprived practices / people. Any idea on that would be greatly appreciated.
And yes, SIG event is a good idea. Looking forward to working together on improving patient care… Thank you very much again, Mathis
