I am a qualified Therapy Radiographer and HCPC registrant (RA66294) - I hold registration until February 2018 and a BSc in Radiotherapy. I am working towards a MSc in Radiotherapy and Oncology and this is ongoing. My CPD is constantly ongoing including attending recent, relevant post graduate study days and events.I have experience during my employment working as a Team Leader with Elekta and Varian Linacs, using Mosaiq and Aria, 4D scanning, CT scanning and virtual simulation, Prosoma, IGRT, IMRT and RapidArc. I have vast experience of project management in the clinical environment, as a clinical radiographer but also as a Senior Research Radiographer and as Quality Assurance Lead Practitioner. I can competently move ideas and service improvement points into action and ensure that the support, treatment and other services we provide our patients and our Consultants is the best it can be.I have the ability to manage an ever changing workload, prioritise clinical and admin tasks and patients when required to deliver to deadlines to ensure the patient pathway is fulfilled. I have extensive experience completing on-going follow up for patients, including managing and running my own clinics and recording clinical information. I hold current ILS certification.I pride myself on my organizational and management skills and feel this is one of my greatest attributes. I possess the ability to manage an ever-changing workload, meet long and short terms deadlines and communicate effectively with clinical staff, Consultants, patients, carers and other members of the public. I have experience working at a senior level, leading a team and leading on projects. I am a quick thinker and l have developed advanced problem-solving skills by managing challenging issues, both autonomously and within a team. I am currently working towards a CMI accredited qualification in Managment, completion in November 2017.I am competent in public speaking and making presentations to groups.
