Biography
I work at Locala Community Partnerships CIC as Assistant Director Transformation (July 2019), a community interest company providing a range of community services to residents of West Yorskhire. My role here focuses on embedding a culture of QI across the organisation to improve patient and colleague experience, lead organisational transformation programmes including working with partner organisations, and oversee our PMO function to measure an track how we are doing.
Prior to this I worked @ Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals as Head of Quality Improvement & Innovation (Qii) leading the development and implementation of the Qii strategy and developing a culture of continuous improvement. Before that I worked ‘over the hills’ in Greater Manchester in a number of strategic roles with lead responsibility for Organisational and System development. I have worked in the health and social care for 20+ years in a variety of settings including acute / district general hospital, mental health, community services, specialist hospital, teaching hospital and health authority.
My roles have all had a focus on cultural and behavioural change, and supporting organisations and systems to develop, with a desire to make a difference to patients, service users and families, and to staff working in those services. I am also an experienced executive coach which I apply to my Qi, strategy and Organisational Development work.
