I am a seasoned and enthusiastic leader in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance, with over 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector.

As the Head of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance at Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW), I am responsible for developing and delivering the Quality Management System, ensuring alignment with the organisational vision and values, and meeting the legal and regulatory requirements for Software as a Medical Device, Computer Systems Validation, and Duty of Quality.

I have a strong background in operations management, quality improvement, project management, team building, and risk management.

I hold a postgraduate diploma in PTQA from the University of Manchester, and I am a CQI practitioner and an IRCA/CQI certified ISO 13485 lead auditor.

I am also a member of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics and the British Computer Society.

I enjoy learning new skills and applying them to improve my performance and the outcomes for the organisation and its stakeholders.

I am currently participating in the Kings Fund senior leadership programme and developing a quality and regulatory framework based on the Chartered Quality Institute's quality profession map.

I am passionate about embedding quality and innovation in everything we do at DHCW, and I welcome any opportunities to connect and collaborate with other professionals in this field.
