As a member of the Kings College Stroke Research Patient & Family Group I have a good working relationship with other service users and academics at Kings College. I am currently the Chair of the Patient and Public Involvment Advisory Group in the Biomedical Research Centre in Guys Hospital.
I was a co-lead developing the work of the Living with Disability Work Stream in a Stroke Modernisation Project. In this role, I organised GP patient events and was involved in the DVD and publication ‘Having a Stroke Being a Parent’
I am one of two trainers delivering PPI training to researchers and clinicians based in the Guys Hosipal BRC and other BRCs in London.
