Biography
Head of Quality Improvement for Salford locality.
Leading on our Quality Improvement Fellowship programme (a 12 month training, development and mentoring scheme for health and social care professionals in Salford), the Safer Salford programme (a system-wide vehicle for local QI initiatives) and the Innovation and Improvement Fund (a grants award scheme to support the testing and embedding of new approaches to health and social care). Passionate about expanding QI beyond secondary care into community, primary care, social care, public health, 3rd sector and beyond.
Prior background in IT, Knowledge Management and Evaluation for QI
Special interest in sociotechnical approaches to QI and knowledge transfer (such as Collaboratives, Communities of Practice and Networks)

Improving Primary Care access & support for women experiencing menopause symptoms
This project aims to accelerate access to specific support for women going through menopause by offering a Neighbourhood based (PCN network) Primary Care Menopause Clinic
Saving Lives and Limbs in Salford
To scale up and spread changes in practice developed during a pilot QI project reducing the variance of vascular assessments in Salford across multiple professions and systems.
Taking an integrated approach to menopause care
To provide an integrated offer across care systems and the community to women going through menopause and peri-menopause, incorporating a holistic approach of medical and non-medical support
