Biography

I joined the Improvement Academy in May 2015. My primary role is to further develop the patent safety collaborative, ensure key objectives are met and build on achievements to date. In addition I am going to be supporting QI training for the academy.
I have 18 years NHS experience, initially having trained as a general nurse. Most of my career has been spent in a quality role, working in risk and governance as well as project managing the Safer Patient Initiative for an acute trust, working with the NHS Institute on the social movement project and as a programme manager for the Patient Safety First campaign.
