I have nearly 46 years experience of working as a nurse in the NHS.I am a qualified general and a mental health nurse.Most of my experience has been in mental health.I have experience of working with adult,CAMHS and older adult.I specialise in dementia care.I am a dementia champion for the Alzheimer's society raising awareness in East Lancashire where I work and live.I am passionate about dementia and quality improvement.I am a specialist advisor for the CQC in mental health and I do inspection with them on a regular basis.Joining the Q community has given me the opportunity to showcase my improvement work and network with like minded people.
To create a social movement of peer support for people living with dementia. To co-design in collaboration with health professionals, health providers, third sector organisations and service providers .
