Having spent over 25 years in the NHS, primarily as a health visitor working with children, young people and families I have experience of working at all levels within the organisation. During my health visiting career I held the role of breastfeeding coordinator within the public health team, and this enabled me to develop skills related to project management, change management and public engagement. I continue to hold a special interest in infant feeding.

I am currently working at the University of Hull as a lecturer of nursing, working predominantly with the pre-registration nursing programmes.
