• “Breast is best”, though it “takes a village” to raise a child

  “Breast is best” though it's not always easy or instinctive. Our local initiation rates for breastfeeding are good, but approximately 20% come to the Emergency Department before they are a month old with difficulties. Feedback indicates we have excellent breastfeeding support services, so what’s going on here? We’re on a mission to find out and fix it.
