An experienced programme manager and project director, Katie has successfully led the development of strategy, planning and delivery for a wide variety of healthcare programmes and projects across three continents. She leads Arup’s operations consulting team, bringing together Arup’s technical, people and process expertise and combining local capability with global best practice.
Katie’s health specific experience includes:
Transformational change covering people, processes and assets;
The management of major programmes at both strategic and local levels;
The development of business cases; and
The planning, design, procurement and implementation of large, complex health facility developments.
Katie is currently supporting the Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre (DNRC) programme which involves the creation of a clinical rehabilitation centre of excellence in the East Midlands. The programme includes not only a 21st Century version of the existing Ministry of Defence establishment at Headley Court in Surrey, but also the potential to develop a national clinical rehabilitation facility to benefit the general population.
