Katie has over 30 years’ experience in the NHS with her clinical background in nursing and midwifery.  She has worked in research, risk management and quality improvement.  Within the Oxford Patient Safety Collaborative she has led the national patient safety Acute Kidney Injury programme, including the award winning quality improvement regional programme in care homes "good hydration".  She has also led the NHSI national programme for maternity and neonatal supporting Trusts regionally to improve safety using quality improvement methodology.  In November 2O20 she moved to support the workforce theme in the Oxford Academic Health Science Network.

An experienced programme manager with a demonstrated history of working locally, regionally and nationally. Skilled Prince Two Practitioner and an MSc in Quality Improvement Science.
