Having worked as a physio specialising in stroke and neueorehabilitation for 15 years, my clinical experience made me interested in how to affect change in the wider health system. I moved into operational management and completed an MSc in Healthcare Leadership which started my passion for research.

I now work with the Clinical Research Team at Torbay Hospital. I am keen to increase research capability among AHPs and nurses and support clinical academic careers as a way to improve outcomes and experiences for patients. I've just started a PhD at Plymouth University in Applied Health Studies and am particularly interested in how staff wellbeing impacts on patient care.
