Kate is shaping the analytical function to make better use of modern analytical and data science techniques; embracing whole systems thinking and modelling. Her team supports improvement teams to have the skills and confidence to undertake robust and appropriate data analysis and measuring for improvement.

Having graduated with a degree in Mathematical Statistics with Operational Research, Kate has spent the last 20 years’ working in senior analytical roles across healthcare, defence and the public sector.

She completed the Scottish Improvement Leader qualification in 2018 and is passionate about making improvement truly data-enabled, where data is accessible and a source of information, rather than an additional stress or strain.
