I have ten years’ experience of developing and delivering complex policies and projects in the public and third sector. I am committed to using this experience alongside evidence-based improvement methodologies to positively influence the delivery of health and social care.

Alongside supporting various quality improvement projects, I am currently leading design and delivery of the Safer Salford programme. Sponsored by Salford CCG, this is an innovative whole health economy partnership to improve safety in health and care, developing the latest thinking from the Measuring and Monitoring of Safety Framework.

I am particularly interested in exploring the interaction between people and systems, with a view to unpicking how this interface can support or resist the development and spread of innovation.

In my spare time I can usually be found exploring the great outdoors of the Peak District and North Wales (dog comes as standard).
