I am a consultant colorectal surgeon in a busy district general hospital.

I have developed an interest in human factors and patient safety over time, and have recently been appointed as HF lead for my trust. I am currently enrolled on a postgraduate certificate in patient safety at Oxford University.

I am keen to network with clinicians and academics with expertise in patient safety systems and HF to further my understanding and to share experiences of the challenges that embedding ergonomics principles in an acute trust can provide
