I have been Medicine Management Pharmacist with NHS Lanarkshire since 2003 where this portfolio role includes:

- Pharmacy advisor to the Out of Hours Service

- Pharmacy advisor to the Prison

- Medicine Management pharmacist for Care at Home Services

Since 2012, I have had a  key focus on how medicines are managed and supported, across the multiple interfaces between Health and Social Care, for people who receive Care at Home Services. I developed the concept of Medication Alignment to help improve patient safety and clinical outcomes for people receiving these services

In recent times I have worked in support of the pharmacy aspects for people who receive Intermediate, and Interim Care, following discharge from hospital.

Additionally I have a keen interest in project management and have supported a number of projects including Pharmore Plus and Police Custody.
