Hi Julie
Perhaps we could set up a phone/virtual call? If nothing else it’s useful to know you’re thinking in the right direction, which can be a challenge in itself! My email address is i.elborough-whitehouse@nhs.net -

Hi all,
Is anyone on here using data in the refreshed drive to reduce health inequalities? My work has become very inequalities-oriented in recent months, which is great – but I don’t want to be reinventing the wheel if there are insights and findings that we can share.
Also, is anyone moving beyond inequalities in access and processes to clinical…Read more-
Hi Iona,
I think there are a few bits of work that we are doing that connect with this challenge. We work with organisations helping them embed evaluation and measurement for improvement approaches into their day to day working and also provide some evaluation support.
This recent report explores the connection between work to address…Read more -

Iona and Julie, f you feel like it, we could make your chat a Zoom that other interested Qs can join in with too. Might be nice to open it up?
For example, there’s a small, new Q group with an interest in this topic: https://q.health.org.uk/community/groups/achieving-equity-through-qi/ – could mention it there.
Let me know if you’d like to do…Read more

yes please, I hadn’t spotted the group so thank you for mentioning it. And yes a zoom would be great and if you are able to set it up even better 😉
Thank you -
We have been very interested in this area for some time and have developed a number of PROMs that address this area, such as our measures of Social Determinants, Loneliness, Neighbour relationships and Personal safety. See https://bmjopenquality.bmj.com/content/9/1/e000789.

@ionataylor @julieanderson @ailsacook is this is a focus of your work?
Q’s current insight project is exploring how we use data to ensure equitable access to services and address backlogs. We are recruiting Q members for two action learning sets to support individual and collaborative learning to progress your work, and sharing of our learning…Read more
