    Hi,

Booked for 10-11am on 15th June. Here’s the meeting link (apologies this is the only way it allowed me to paste it!) I’ll invite those of you who I know and have expressed an interest directly. Please let me know your e mail address if you’d prefer an invite to be sent (I’m at emma.stinton@nhs.net). Please also feel free to pass the invite on…Read more

It’s great to see that there’s interest in sharing progress and supporting each other. It sounds like a good first step would be to meet and work out the best way to facilitate this. I’ll set something up for the week of 15th June and post the MS Teams link to join the meeting here (unless anyone can think of a better way for me to invite you…Read more

  • Hi,

Lucinda Hollinshead from CLCH and I have been discussing how useful it would be to have a network for people who are working to implement or trying to plan a Quality Management System in their organisation. Something along the lines of a regular meeting plus a space where we can give each other support, share queries and progress. Does…Read more

    • Emma, This is a great idea. I would be happy to help organise regular Teams meetings for such a group and facilitate discussion. I have organised two webinars on quality management, details on a previous post. We could also do an in person meeting if enough people are interested. It is really important to understand the basic principles when…Read more

    • Hi Emma and Thomas, I would be interested in joining a regular catch up. Many thanks Jonty.

    • Excellent news, certainly interested in joining

    • Hi Emma,

I work in Pathology where we are accredited to ISO 15189:2012 which includes requirement for a robust Quality Management System, so happy to also help with ideas, but obviously ours is very lab-heavy.

Hi it Mary, please count me in. I’m attempting to develop QMS at “place” wi so would find this super helpful to share ideas and practical ways to implement and further understand that”good” look like.

      Bw Mary

    • Hi Emma,
I would be interested in joining the conversation. I have been involved in the design and build of a QMS and preparations for implementing ISO 9001:2015 in previous work on accreditation for hospitals. So looking forward to what ideas can be exchanged with those who have implemented a QMS and those planning to do this.

I’d be really interested in finding out more about our work.

    Hi,

We’ve used both Miro and Draw.io (both free versions to date) and I find them both fairly easy to use for process mapping. I have a slight preference for Miro as anyone can access the map at the same time via a link and it’s easier to send out after.

    Good luck.

    Hi Claire,

It works well on the free version, that’s what we’ve been using to date. We are thinking of purchasing the enhanced version so we can have more than 3 board running at once, especially as we will start to use it for pathway redesign work too.

3 boards have been ok though as they are so ‘big’ you can add lots on to the same board. By…Read more

Thanks Chris. I’ve just changed my instructions so everyone is on Miro. That makes a lot of sense and even means they can have more than one builder.

Krishna I’ve not done a virtual Mr Potato Head but was thinking about it. I was going to pre generate shapes on a Miro board that the participants could use but include more than they needed. Good luck!
