Hi all – The AWARE-IBD Project funded by The Health Foundation is a patient-led programme of service improvement for Inflammatory Bowel Disease. The main aim is to understand “what matters to you?” from a patient perspective and build that into cycles of service change. A really important part of this work is to reach out to ‘less heard voices’ and ensuring what matters to them is central to the IBD service re-design. The project is run as a partnership between Crohn’s & Colitis UK, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the Sheffield Microsystems Coaching Academy and University of Sheffield. We’re really keen to talk through the project in more detail and would welcome any opportunity to collaborate with Q community members who have an interest in this area. Please get in touch!
