Biography

I am leading research and educational development at St Oswald's Hospice in Newcastle. My work is focussed on:

- better understanding the experience of people on the receiving end of care, including areas of unmet need

- bringing that experience into the learning arena using stories

- delivery of end of life care outside specialist palliative care settings, including empowering the wide health and social care workforce

- people with complex care needs, including offenders, asylum seekers and the homeless.
