Stacey, Welcome to the SIG. I had a great discussion today with another Q member, talking about Standard Work and what it could look like in the NHS. My dream would be a Trust implementing a new GIRFT clinical pathway and an NHS version of Standard Work for that pathway. What an example that would be! What do you think?
Standard work is a characteristic of Toyota, that make one thing – cars. That might be applicable to health where the process is standardised.

I do not disagree with you John – but – for reasons of error reduction, improvement, innovation, Patient Safety and productivity even a LHS, standard work is absolutely necessary in the NHS.
