Dundee H&SCP as a post 'GP Lead' for almost five years, in this have gained an appreciation of the wider challenges that the population faces and have

I have been working as a clinical informatician and currently am also interim clinical lead at Primary Care Informatics, NSS. I completed a Masters in Digital Health Leadership and this has enhanced my understanding of how to progress positive change.
Balancing urgent and planned care, particularly when running clinics with patient appointments booked in advance, is one of the more difficult challenges for health care services. Is there an approach that enables health care providers to respond to both longer term and urgent demand?
