Trained as a journalist and later a GP Practice Manager. Working with Micro Doc (Sheffield) on the development and early adoption of General Practice on the desk information technology systems.
Degree in Independent Studies Lancaster University and PhD in the social construction of science and technology studies - Technology, Gender, Risk and Innovation.
Twenty years exerience in programme and project evaluation working with nearly 100 organisations in the government (inspectorates), SMEs, NHS, statutory and Thrid Sector whilst based with Sociology and Applied Social Science at Lancaster University.
