I am Speech and Language Therapist with over 20 years experience of working in the NHS and with a particular interest in supporting adults who have a learning disability and also people with a diagnosis of dementia. I currently work for a charity called Include, which promotes inclusive communication, co-production and self-advocacy for people with communication difficulties. I am also studying for a PhD, and am researching the communication that occurs during intergenerational interactions in dementia.
